Physical Therapy (PT) is the most common treatment we prescribe. It is used on its own, or in combination with other procedures, to relieve pain and increase strength, flexibility, mobility, balance and more. Physical therapy can often be effective in helping to avoid surgery. If and when surgery is deemed absolutely necessary, physical therapy, under the proper oversight of a physician, is key to surgical recovery and outcomes. Young or old, athletic or otherwise, hands-on Physical Therapy is a safe, effective and non-invasive way to alleviate and recover from muscle, joint and nerve pain.
